At MyPhotoLog Pro, we believe your data belongs to you. We've built this app from the ground up with a privacy-first philosophy. This means we don't collect, transmit, or store any of your personal information on our servers.

Information We DON'T Collect

Unlike many apps, MyPhotoLog Pro does NOT collect:

• Your photos or images
• Location data or GPS coordinates
• Photo metadata, tags, or descriptions
• Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number)
• Usage analytics or behavior tracking
• Device information or identifiers
• Crash reports or diagnostic data
• Any other personal information

How Your Data is Stored

Local Storage: All your photos, location data, tags, and descriptions are stored exclusively on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share it.

Optional iCloud Backup: If you enable iCloud backup in Settings, your data is stored in your personal iCloud Drive account. This is a direct connection between your device and your iCloud account - we never have access to this data. You can disable iCloud backup at any time.

Data Sharing

You Control All Sharing: The only way your data is shared is when you explicitly choose to export or share photos using the app's sharing features:

• .myphotolog Files: When you export photos to share with colleagues, you choose who receives the file
• KML Export: When you export to Google Earth format, you control where the file is saved or sent
• Standard iOS Sharing: All sharing uses iOS's built-in share sheet, giving you complete control

Third-Party Services

MyPhotoLog Pro does NOT use:

• Third-party analytics services (no Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks or tracking SDKs
• Social media integration or tracking pixels
• Cloud hosting services for your data
• Any other third-party data collection tools

Website vs App Privacy

Important distinction: This privacy policy primarily covers the MyPhotoLog Pro iOS app. Our website (www.myphotologpro.app) may collect standard web analytics in the future to understand how visitors use the site. Any website data collection will be separate from the app and will be disclosed here when implemented.

Currently, our website:

• Does not use cookies for tracking
• Does not use third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
• May collect standard server logs (IP addresses, browser type, access times)
• Uses Cloudflare for hosting and DDoS protection (subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy)

Location Services

MyPhotoLog Pro uses iOS Location Services only to:

• Record GPS coordinates when you take or save a photo
• Display your current location on the map (if you grant permission)
• Calculate distances between photos and your current location

This location data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

App Store & Apple

MyPhotoLog Pro is distributed through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect information about your download and purchase, subject to Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to this information.

Children's Privacy

MyPhotoLog Pro does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13. Since we don't collect any data, the app is safe for users of all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the new policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. Since we don't collect your contact information, we cannot notify you directly of changes.

Your Rights

Since all your data is stored on your device:

• You have complete control over your data
• You can delete the app and all data at any time
• You can export your data using the app's export features
• You don't need to request data deletion from us (we don't have it)
